Koiso is an amazing hidden gem. Constantly delicious fresh sushi. The chef is an artist, with attention to detail. They have lunch specials ( which is how it all started). So many amazing rolls my personal favorites the Long Island roll, Crispy Tuna roll, Carle Place roll. The Kani salad is freshly made, so good!!! They have a happy hour menu as well. Highly recommend, a must try!!!!

Wow, first time at Koiso and we LOVE I!! The food was fresh, delicious, flavorful and portions are huge! The service by Sonny was amazing, kind and friendly. The owners also came by to chat with us. We definitely will be back. We ordered plenty so we can try and every dish from Jami salad to chicken teriyaki, pork gyozya, agedashi tofu, shrimp tempura udon soup and crab cream croquette was amazing. The restaurant was very comfortable, nice and cozy! Keep up the amoxnb work. Thank you for your hospitality!

Everyone ate and enjoyed their food too quickly to take photos. Sushi was fresh, the Negimaki was tasty and flavorful, as was the miso ramen. Seaweed salad is one of our favorites to share.

Decent sushi place. They have traditional Japanese sit down booths where you take your shoes off and sit cross legged. The food here was alright. It has your standard startes such as gyoza, edamame, salad and some sashimi dishes. The sushi is also pretty standard and was alright, nothing to rave about. The one thing I wish they had was Otoro also know as fatty tuna. Otoro is the fattier cut from tuna which simply melts in your mouth. Overall this place is great if you are craving sushi and want something decent.

If you're looking for an unforgettable sushi experience on Long Island, Koiso Sushi Restaurant is an absolute gem you need to visit. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed into a clean, calm, and beautifully arranged space. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, with thoughtful seating arrangements that allowed us to truly enjoy our meal without feeling crowded or rushed. We ordered the Koiso Sushi Platter B, Shumai, and the Kani Mango Salad – and every bite was a delight. The Sushi Platter B was a true masterpiece, showcasing an incredible variety of fresh, flavorful fish, perfectly seasoned rice, and meticulous presentation. Each piece felt like it was crafted with care and expertise. The Shumai was delicate and savory, cooked to perfection with a wonderful texture that melted in the mouth. The Kani Mango Salad was the perfect refreshing complement to the meal — light, sweet, and full of vibrant flavors that balanced beautifully with the sushi. The service was also excellent — friendly, attentive, and respectful of our space, adding to the already relaxing atmosphere. Overall, Koiso Sushi Restaurant offers a top-tier dining experience where quality, flavor, and ambiance come together perfectly. We can't wait to come back for another visit!

Very homie, the server, the elderly man (owner?) is nice and friendly. Sushi was good and fresh. Sushi rice could use a little more flavor but fish was fresh and top quality.
